MAKING A DIFFERENCE

KELSIE'S DASH

School Based Make the DASH Count Clubs

An impressive young woman named Kelsie approached us with the goal of founding a Make the DASH Count Club at her school. Her vision was to create an atmosphere for students to make a difference in the lives of others while developing the skills necessary to become thoughtful and engaged members of their community.

Kelsie’s intention was to introduce the idea of making the DASH count to the hearts of the King’s High School community. She believed that the whole community could benefit from a reflection on what they are doing to make their DASH count. She also believed that this club would provide students the opportunity to lead the way in creating and organizing sustainable fundraisers to support the Hope Fund as a way of making their DASH count.

We are grateful for Kelsie’s vision, determination and dedication. She and others like her allow us to take an important step towards our vision of creating an army of youth philanthropists who will serve as philanthropic leaders throughout their lives.

Kelsie has also agreed to serve as a guide for other youth that are interested in starting a Make the Dash Count Club at their school. If you are interested in starting a club at your school, please click the link below to contact the foundation.
